Drake & Josh - The story of two fortuitous brothers

Drake & Josh is a comedy show made by a director Dan Schneider for Nickelodeon released from 2004 to 2007. Plot of the show is about two fifteen years old teenage boys who are becoming brothers accidentally as a result of Drake’s mother (Nancy Sullivan) and Josh’s father (Jonathan Goldstein)  mariage. Josh has to move into the new house of his new family and start to live in one room with his new brother who is a totally different kind of person. Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) and Drake Parker (Drake Bell) are the opposite of themselves. Josh is an intellectual, clumsy and awkward but behind that very loving and caring. He also works in the cinema. Drake is popular in school and a really good looking guy. He is kind of a young rock star because he has a band and he almost never leaves his guitar. Thanks to that he is a teenage ladies heartthrob. Behind that he is not really smart and that causes many hilarious situations in the show. Josh also gains a new little sister - Megan Parker (Miranda Cosgrove). She is a really clever girl with a devilish mind and really loves making cruel pranks for her brothers. Every episode shows the way of their mutual journey through their teenage years. In my opinion I am not surprised that this tv show is one of the most popular and iconic for those days young adults because it has a really specific but still good looking slapstick show form and humor but made in a realistic way. On the other hand the dialogues are brilliant, some of the catchphrases or scenes from this show are still alive in actual meme culture. Personally I have to confess that this show still gives me nostalgic feelings and brings back memories about the time when i watched this for the first time when i was a child and i think i am not the only one.
