Why Carringtons are most famous family?

You can ask you parents, they will know them. You can ask your grandmother, she will also know them. You can ask someone in the market, she or he will also know them. Do you know why? I can tell you- it is all about this series. 

Dynasty is a series with was emited from 1981 to 1891. This is a series that tells the story of the ups and downs of the members of the Carrington family. A clash of the hard realities of the oil business and complicated love stories. First version of this series include 9 seassons, which gave them  five Golden Globe, four other award and thirty-seven nominations. 

To be honest I have never watched this "old" version od Dynasty, but i have love-hate relationship with the new one and I want to tell you something about it !

New version of Dynasty (reboot) was made by the CW in 2017 and will be emitted to the end of 2022.  It is like American classic from 80s but set in modern reality,   New Dynasty have (for now) 4 seassons, and in my opinion after third, people who did it should be fired. 

What changed in new Dynasty? At first action moves from Denver to Atlanta. Secondly producers mix up the cast to be more political correct- we have African American, Latin American, homosexual characters - evrything what would makes series outspokenly liberal. 

The entire series begin by Fallon Carrington saying: "Like it or not, we live in an age of dynasties." When in background we can see clips of the Trumps, Murdochs and Kardashians flash and flicker unnecessarily across the screen. New Dynasty delights timelessness case of what once seemed a uniquely 80s set-up. "See?" she asked, they nudge, passing the popcorn. "Nothing has changed."

The plot of the series is based on the history of the two families Carrington and Colby, family skirmishes, the struggle for the conductor's seat, romances, lovers, new wives and old secrets.It all starts when Fallon discovers that her father Blake plans to give the company to his new fiancée and not to her. This pulls the whole puzzle together.

The series is not masterfully recorded, the music is average everything adds up to a mere soap opera rather than an outstanding work. They aren't any brilliant characters, developing, breathtaking plot or any extravagance. It's good to watch if you want to get away from your world and lick the great fortunes, gained not entirely morally.
